That’s why when someone goes above and beyond at JMS Cleaning – it’s a big deal for us. Although we’re more than confident in the abilities and passion of all of our staff, there was one member of our team who really stood out this month, namely, JMS cleaning operative Hannah Jackson.

Hannah joined us around twelve months ago, and has shown great enthusiasm ever since. Starting initially as a casual/cover cleaner, she has shown a great deal of commitment, making herself available to stand in when short-term illnesses strike – even at a couple of hours notice – and hitting our high standards of hygiene with each job.

Now a mobile cleaner, Hannah’s current work varies from builders cleans to one-off deep cleans and holiday cover. Despite her more diverse role, Hannah’s work ethic is impeccable, bringing a smile with her to each and every project and maintaining her excellent standard of work. She is great asset to our company, and is appreciated by the whole team!

To recognise her hard work, Hannah was presented with a £50 John Lewis voucher by JMS company secretary Mark Slattery during a recent visit to our offices, and is also our Employee of the Month; an award she richly deserves!

While we’re confident in the ability of all our staff members, it’s still nice to receive positive feedback, which is why we were delighted to hear about JMS cleaning operative Francine Shaw’s recent achievements.

During a period of contract work at Wigan Town Hall, where construction company ISG were undertaking £6.1 million worth of restoration, Francine was awarded Employee of the Month. Francine also received gift vouchers as a token of the consistently high standard of her work, presented by JMS operations director David Needham.

“As a result of the excellent service that Francine provided, she received a record number of subcontractor nominations for our Employee of the Month award”, explained Tony Dougan, project manager at the ISG site. “We would like to express our gratitude to Francine for the excellent work she has been doing for us at Wigan Town Hall”.

As a Grade II listed building, it was crucial that those chosen for work at the Town Hall were fully up to the task, and we were confident in our selection of Francine.

So we’d like to congratulate Francine for all of her efforts – another JMS success story!
